Registered Early Childhood Educator
Summary
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) for a permanent 0.5 FTE position at St. Paul CES (K). This role involves collaborating with educators to plan and implement the Early Learning Kindergarten and Extended Day programs, focusing on age-appropriate learning and fostering children's cognitive, physical, social, spiritual, and emotional development within a faith-based environment. Key responsibilities include supporting individual student needs, observing and assessing pupil development, and collaborating on Individual Education Plans (IEPs). The RECE will also maintain a positive learning context, provide guidance on daily routines, manage student records, and assist with classroom setup. Administrative functions such as attendance and billing for the Extended Day Program may also be required. Applicants must be members in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Preference will be given to Catholic applicants.
