Registered Nurse
Summary
The Elliott Community is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their nursing department and interdisciplinary team. The RN will provide resident-focused care, advocate for health and wellness promotion, and collaborate with healthcare professionals. This role involves assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating resident care needs, contributing to individual care plans, and administering medications and treatments. The RN will also support a team approach to resident engagement, participate in admission/discharge processes, and ensure documentation is up-to-date. Additionally, the RN will provide leadership, support colleagues, and may act as Charge Nurse, overseeing facility security and performing 'in charge' duties. The position requires a valid RN license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, current CPR and First Aid certification, and a Vulnerable Sector Search Criminal Record check. Recent nursing experience with a geriatric population is preferred. The role offers a competitive compensation package, including shift premiums, OMERS pension plan participation, and extended health/dental benefits. The wage range for 2025 is $40.62 - $49.46 per hour.
