LTO EA Level D - Extended Day Before School

Summary

The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking a Long Term Occasional (LTO) Educational Assistant (EA) Level D for an Extended Day Before School program. This part-time contract position requires 7.5 hours per week. The role involves supporting students, and specific qualifications include a teaching certification, an EA/CYW diploma, or a related post-secondary degree/diploma with a minimum of one year of related work experience, preferably supporting special needs children. Assets for the role include a valid Behaviour Management Systems certification, experience with students with special needs and behavioural disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder Training, and Lifting/Positioning Training.
