Summary
The Grand Erie District School Board is seeking a Manager of Budget and Grants to lead their budget development and financial reporting processes. Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to prepare annual budgets, developing revenue and expense forecasts, identifying funding shortfalls, maintaining the General Ledger, and coordinating grant funding administration. The position requires a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, a degree in Business, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in budgeting and financial statement preparation. Advanced proficiency with financial systems and tools like Microsoft Excel is essential, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in a school board or public sector organization is an asset.
