Summary

The Guelph Community Health Centre is seeking a Nursing Coordinator (RPN) to manage the efficient flow of its clinics. This role involves a blend of administrative and clinical duties, with approximately 60% of the time dedicated to coordinating the Primary Care nursing team's administrative functions and 40% to direct client care. Key responsibilities include monitoring daily clinic needs, managing staff shortages, overseeing administrative tasks like ministry reporting and supply ordering, coordinating influenza clinics, and ensuring IPAC standards are met. Clinical duties involve checking vitals, completing forms, assisting with minor procedures, and performing various tests. Candidates must be a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess three to five years of nursing experience in hospital and community settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of community-based healthcare, basic computer proficiency, and effective organizational and time management skills.
