Medical Laboratory Technologist, Core Lab

Summary

Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist for a regular part-time position in the Core Lab at their Stratford General Hospital location. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing both routine and advanced test procedures, exercising initiative in problem-solving, and directing the work of Medical Laboratory Assistants. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program and be currently registered or eligible for registration with the CMLTO in Blood Bank, Hematology, and Biochemistry. Key qualifications include proficiency with the Meditech Information System, excellent communication skills, the ability to organize and prioritize in a stressful environment, and familiarity with phlebotomy techniques. At least two years of recent technical experience in a core lab is preferred.
