Business Development Manager
Summary
ASC International is seeking a Business Development Manager for Australia to drive market growth for their certification and labelling programs. This role focuses on commercial outreach, stakeholder engagement, and expanding the uptake of ASC's seafood certification and labelling program through a bespoke regional strategy. The manager will build strong commercial relationships with retailers, brands, processors, industry associations, and supply chain partners, aiming to increase awareness and adoption of ASC-certified products. Success will be measured by increased regional awareness, adoption of ASC certification, building strong commercial partnerships, and driving certified ASC products into new markets. The position requires proven experience in new market growth, business development, or sales roles, with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Experience in the seafood, food production, FMCG, retail, sustainability, or certification sectors, along with an existing network in the Australian industry, is considered a bonus.
