Summary

The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is seeking a Before and After School Support (B.A.S.S.) Long-term occasional employee. This role involves supporting play-based programming for students in junior kindergarten to grade 6, working alongside a Designated Early Childhood Educator (DECE). Responsibilities include general student supervision, fostering positive interactions, supporting children's exploration and development, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, and adhering to licensing requirements under the Child Care and Early Years Act. The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma, prior experience supervising children, a valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED (or willingness to obtain), and a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
