Assistant Supervisor, Wastewater

Summary

The City of Woodstock is seeking an Assistant Supervisor, Wastewater to oversee and perform tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of storm and sanitary wastewater collection infrastructure. This role involves leading a work crew, ensuring safe and efficient operations, coordinating with the public and external entities, and maintaining records. The Assistant Supervisor will also act as a liaison, arrange for utility locates, and prepare/instruct other operators in the absence of the Supervisor. Key responsibilities include operating processes, making adjustments, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring inventory, and performing winter maintenance operations. This is a permanent, full-time, unionized position reporting to the Supervisor, Public Works.
