Registered Practical Nurse-Day Surgery

Summary

The Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is seeking a Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for their Day Surgery department at SMGH. The RPN will provide perioperative care to adult patients, working collaboratively within a healthcare team to deliver quality nursing care. This role requires a graduate of a Practical Nursing Program, current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and knowledge of NAPAN Standards. Demonstrated experience as an OR-Scrub Technician, a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate, and strong interdisciplinary team, communication, and computer skills are also necessary. The position requires the ability to meet physical and safety demands and maintain regular attendance.
