Summary

Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for its Emergency Department. This full-time role involves delivering exceptional patient care, performing treatments, assessments, monitoring, and documenting changes within the RPN scope of practice, while also assisting with daily living activities and providing patient/family education. The successful candidate must hold a College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Registration in good standing, an RPN Diploma, and a current CPR certificate. Key qualifications include a minimum of one year of recent medical/surgical/mental health experience in a hospital setting, excellent physical assessment skills, medication administration proficiency, and a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia certificate. Preferred qualifications include emergency nursing experience and familiarity with the Meditech system.
