Early Years Specialist

Summary

The Early Years Specialist will collaborate with early years services and community partners to provide support and leadership for families and children. This role requires a minimum 2-year post-secondary diploma in a related field and Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) status, along with 1-2 years of experience in the children's services sector. The specialist will need knowledge of relevant legislation, community development, service planning, and early child development best practices. The position involves project management, consultative skills, and computer proficiency. French language skills are an asset, and a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle is required. The role operates 35 hours per week with potential for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and requires travel throughout the County.
