Community Development Manager
Summary
The Township of Terrace Bay is seeking a Community Development Manager to lead community development and recreation initiatives. This role involves identifying new ventures for community and economic development, exploring tourism opportunities, managing the Community Center and other Township facilities, overseeing staff, organizing recreational programs, and coordinating special events. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Community Development or Recreation, 3-5 years of progressive management experience (preferably in the municipal sector), proficiency with computer applications, strong communication skills, knowledge of funding programs, and familiarity with municipal government operations. The salary range is $83,397.27 to $100,478.64 annually.
