Senior Communications Manager
Summary
KidsAbility Foundation is seeking a Senior Communications Manager to lead the strategy and execution of integrated communications that support the organization's fundraising, stewardship, and brand priorities. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role involves driving compelling storytelling to enhance visibility, deepen donor and community engagement, and support fundraising success. Key responsibilities include planning and executing communication strategies for donor acquisition and retention, creating fundraising appeals, managing public and media relations, and leading social media strategy. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, along with a minimum of three to five years of progressive communications experience, preferably in a non-profit or fundraising setting. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in fundraising communications, storytelling, campaign execution, and media relations. Essential skills include exceptional writing and editing, strong project management abilities, and proficiency with digital tools and social media platforms. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are also required for this role.
