Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance is seeking an Obstetrical Registered Nurse for a job-share position at its Listowel site. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to expectant parents and newborns, including support during labour, initial newborn care, and postpartum education. Key responsibilities involve collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, organizing patient care, problem-solving, communicating with patients and families, operating medical equipment, and administering medications and treatments. Applicants must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hold a diploma or degree from a recognized college or university, with a BScN being preferred. A significant number of certifications are required, including BCLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Health Surveillance, and Maternal Child Course. Preferred qualifications include two years of experience in maternal newborn nursing and familiarity with Cerner software. The role requires the ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
