After School Support - LTO

Summary

The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) is seeking a part-time After School Support worker for their Before and After School Support (B.A.S.S.) program. This Long-Term Occasional (LTO) position involves supporting play-based programming for junior kindergarten to grade 6 students, working alongside a Designated Early Childhood Educator (DECE). Responsibilities include general student supervision, fostering positive interactions, supporting children's exploration and development, and maintaining a healthy and safe environment. The role requires a minimum of a high school diploma, prior experience supervising children, and a valid First Aid/CPR certificate or willingness to obtain one. A satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check is also a condition of employment. This position is for 2 hours per week, specifically on Tuesdays, and is located at Forest Glen school in New Hamburg.
