Maintenance Person (Repairer 1)
Summary
The Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a Maintenance Person (Repairer 1) for a Regular Full-Time position in Brantford or Paris, Ontario. Reporting to the Manager of Engineering and Maintenance, this role involves performing maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment and systems in accordance with all relevant codes and policies. The position requires responding to emergencies, completing work requests, executing preventative maintenance tasks, and documenting meter readings. The incumbent will also assist team members with various tasks and may work with CMMS systems. A Secondary School Diploma is mandatory, with a preference for a Technical, Building Environmental Systems, or Industrial Maintenance certificate. Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in engineering/maintenance, preferably in a healthcare setting, and be able to work all shifts, independently or as part of a team. Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, along with excellent attendance, are essential.
