Supervisor of Emergency Management and Business Continuity
Summary
The City of Cambridge is seeking a Supervisor of Emergency Management and Business Continuity to provide strategic leadership for its emergency preparedness and business continuity programs. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing corporate policies, plans, and strategies to ensure legislative compliance and organizational resilience. The Supervisor will act as a subject matter expert, advising senior leadership, coordinating cross-departmental initiatives, and overseeing training and outreach programs. Responsibilities include managing budgets, preparing reports, building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and supervising assigned staff. The position requires a university degree in a related field, four years of progressive leadership experience in emergency management or business continuity, and experience managing staff and budgets. Municipal or public sector experience is strongly preferred. The role offers a salary range of $107,360 to $130,932 annually, a comprehensive benefits package, and enrollment in OMERS. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the expectation of after-hours work as needed.
