Summary
Cambridge Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Buyer to support and lead approved purchasing initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The Buyer will manage procurement processes in compliance with the Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive, ensuring open, fair, and transparent acquisition of goods and services. Key responsibilities include administering procurement activities, advising internal partners on procurement processes, maintaining the integrity of the public procurement process, preparing and issuing bid solicitations, processing purchase requisitions, and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have completed post-secondary education in Business Administration, Purchasing, Materials Management, or Logistics, with 3 to 5 years of direct experience as a Buyer. Experience in healthcare purchasing, contract management, and advanced MS Office skills are required. Preferred qualifications include experience with Meditech, Bonfire, Merx, and knowledge of public sector procurement directives and laws.
