Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
Summary
The Upper Grand District School Board is seeking Casual Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) to join their supply list. In this role, you will provide temporary coverage for ECE absences in various elementary and secondary school programs, including French Immersion. Key responsibilities include collaborating with classroom teachers to implement a full-day early learning program, sharing duties for instruction and assessment, and communicating with families and school teams. The position may also involve supervising students in the extended day program. To qualify, candidates must have a two-year College Diploma in Early Childhood Education and be a registered member in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators. A minimum of six months of recent experience working with four or five-year-olds in an educational or childcare setting is required. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of early learning programs, strong communication skills, and basic computer proficiency. The ability to speak French is a significant asset.
