RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator)
Summary
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) for a permanent, part-time position at St. Teresa CES in Kitchener. The role involves collaborating with classroom educators to plan and implement the Early Learning Kindergarten program and/or leading the Extended Day Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a faith-based learning environment that supports children's cognitive, physical, social, spiritual, and emotional development. Duties include planning curriculum-based activities, assessing student progress, supporting students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and maintaining a safe and organized classroom. Administrative tasks such as managing attendance and billing for the extended day program are also required.
