Registered Nurse, Obstetrical Outpatient

Summary

Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Registered Nurse for their Obstetrical Outpatient department. This role, which is expected to last until approximately September 2027, focuses on providing consultation and support for families with breastfeeding and neonate care. The nurse will collaborate with staff, patients, and families to improve patient experience, work with community partners to deliver patient-centered care, and share knowledge on newborn and breastfeeding practices. The position requires a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, three years of current perinatal nursing experience, mandatory NRP certification, and demonstrated competency in neonate and breastfeeding care. Preference will be given to candidates with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (I.B.C.L.C.) certification or those completing requirements for it, and a college certificate in Perinatal Nursing.
