Summary

Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is seeking a Part-Time Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Cardiodiagnostics for their location at WRHN @ Queen’s Blvd (formerly St. Mary’s General Hospital) in Kitchener, ON. This role involves preparing patients and conducting diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms, stress tests, holter monitors, and loop recorders accurately and efficiently. The Cardiovascular Technologist will also be responsible for providing preliminary results to care providers, maintaining equipment and supplies, and assisting with clerical duties. Key responsibilities include performing various cardiac testing procedures independently and as part of a team, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring patient safety. The technologist will also be responsible for accurate documentation using computerized systems and collaborating with clinical staff and other team members. This position requires a graduate of a recognized Cardiovascular Technologist program, current registration with CSCT/OSCT, 3-5 years of experience, and current BCLS certification.
