Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) is hiring an Anesthesia Assistant to work under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist, providing anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgery. To qualify, candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist or a Registered Nurse with a Certified Clinical Anesthesia Assistant Certification from a CSRT-accredited school. Applicants must be registered and in good standing with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario or the College of Nurses of Ontario. The position requires a minimum of two years of current experience as an Anesthesia Assistant in an operating room, along with three to five years of experience as an RRT or RN in a Critical Care, Emergency, or Operating Room setting. Current BCLS certification is mandatory, while ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
