Water Distribution Operator

Summary

The City of Guelph is seeking a Water Distribution Operator to join their Water Services Division. This permanent, full-time role involves operating and maintaining the City's Class IV Water Distribution System in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various water infrastructure components, conduct utility locates, manage water flow, take water samples, and respond to customer inquiries. The position requires participation in emergency services, after-hours work, and may involve shifts outside of standard business hours.
