Senior Manager, Education and Outreach

Summary

The Ontario Dig Authority (ODA) is seeking a Senior Manager, Education and Outreach to lead its education, outreach, industry engagement, and partnership development activities. Reporting to the Vice President, Education and Brand, this role is responsible for planning, delivering, and improving education programs, training initiatives, online learning, and awareness activities. The Senior Manager will work collaboratively across the organization and with external stakeholders, including industry associations, municipalities, and educational institutions, to promote safe excavation practices and increase awareness of ODA services. This leadership position involves direct management of Education and Outreach staff and contributes to advancing ODA's strategic objectives. The role is based in Guelph, Ontario, with a hybrid work model and requires some travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles, extensive experience in education and outreach program delivery, excellent relationship-building and leadership skills, and proficiency with relevant software. A post-secondary education in a related field and 5-7 years of progressive experience in education, training, or outreach, along with 3-5 years of people leadership, are required.
