Summary
The Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary full-time position at their Wingham site's Inpatient unit. The role involves promoting and restoring patient health through the nursing process, collaborating with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families, supervising team members, communicating with stakeholders, operating medical equipment, and administering medications and treatments. Applicants must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess a diploma or degree from a recognized college or university. Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS/ENCP, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmias, Defibrillator, and 15 Lead ECG Interpretation. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of related nursing experience in an acute, long-term care, or community setting. Preferred qualifications include additional education in palliative care or critical care, and experience with Cerner software.
