Summary
The University of Guelph's College of Engineering is seeking a Director of Business Operations for its newly established College. Reporting directly to the Dean, this strategic leadership role oversees Operations, Administration, Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, IT Procurement, and Facilities Management. The Director will act as a key partner to the Dean and other senior leaders, ensuring business operations align with the College's vision and strategic plan within the broader University context. Responsibilities include strategic operations management, financial oversight of a complex budget, facilities planning, and leading change management for major initiatives. This position requires advanced knowledge of post-secondary environments, financial management, strategic principles, and strong communication and negotiation skills.
