Summary
The City of Guelph is seeking a Manager, Construction Services to lead their linear infrastructure construction program. This role involves overseeing a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering roads, structures, water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation infrastructure projects. The Manager will ensure projects support growth, housing development, and the city's state of good repair objectives, while also managing quality control and assurance. Key responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing capital and site services projects, collaborating with planning and asset management teams, and liaising with external stakeholders. The position requires a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, registration as a Professional Engineer with PEO or a Certified Engineering Technician/Technologist with OACETT, and considerable experience in municipal engineering, design, and construction, including staff supervision.
