Laundry/Housekeeping Aide

Summary

The Region of Waterloo is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to join the team at Sunnyside Home. This role involves sorting and washing soiled laundry, processing clean laundry, and maintaining assigned areas of the home in a clean and orderly manner. The position requires a Grade 12 education, experience in commercial laundry, and knowledge of cleaning and infection control procedures. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create a caring, person-centred environment for residents. This is a temporary contract position, up to 5 months, with a schedule of 38.75 hours biweekly, typically from 0700-1500, including weekends and holidays.
