Summary

The Stratford Police Service is seeking an Experienced Police Constable to join its team, offering a rewarding career in law enforcement with opportunities for advancement. Constables are expected to interact formally and informally with the community, provide victim assistance, perform routine patrol duties, and actively identify and resolve community problems. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, at least 18 years old, physically and mentally capable, and possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent. Key requirements include good moral character, no unpardoned criminal convictions, a valid driver's license with minimal demerit points, and current CPR and first aid certification. The role demands strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills, along with the ability to exercise good judgment, problem-solve, and work effectively in a team setting. Successful applicants will undergo comprehensive background, medical, and psychological evaluations, and must pass the Fitness PIN Test.
