Summary

Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is seeking a full-time Plumber to perform a wide range of repair and preventative maintenance tasks on all plumbing systems and equipment at their Queen’s Blvd location. The role involves responding to emergency system failures, installing and maintaining hospital environmental systems, and ensuring all equipment meets CSA standards. The Plumber will also be responsible for planning installations, estimating material requirements, and maintaining records of work performed. This position requires a Grade 12 education or equivalent, completion of a government apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job training, and knowledge of plumbing codes and local ordinances. Familiarity with HVAC systems and plumbing equipment is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and experience with various plumbing tools and equipment.
