Student, Labourer (Transit)

Summary

The Region of Waterloo is seeking two Student Labourers for their Transit Fleet department. This is a part-time, student position with a maximum of 24 hours per week. The role involves cleaning bus interiors, including vacuuming, dusting, washing floors, walls, ceilings, windows, seats, and disinfecting as needed. The student will also maintain the shop area and follow health and safety legislation. Candidates must be registered as full-time secondary or post-secondary students and possess basic reading, writing, and math skills, attention to detail, and at least one year of general labour experience. Strong communication and the ability to work independently while following instructions are also required.
