Roads Maintainer

Summary

The City of Cambridge is seeking a temporary Roads Maintainer for approximately six months. This role involves a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks, including snow hauling, asphalt and concrete repairs for roads, sidewalks, curbs, and catch basins, as well as landscaping, sign maintenance, traffic control, leaf collection, roadside debris collection, and street sweeping. The position also includes park trail maintenance, requiring the operation of a chainsaw and hand pruners. The successful candidate must be capable of working winter maintenance night shifts and be available for standby duties, with overtime being a condition of employment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid DZ Driver's License in good standing and basic computer skills. Preference will be given to candidates with 3-4 years of similar work experience.
