Summary
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is seeking two Regular Part-Time Physiotherapists to join their collaborative, inter-professional Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team. This role involves delivering innovative rehabilitation services to stroke survivors and their caregivers within their communities, helping them achieve optimal recovery and independence. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centered physiotherapy services to referred stroke clients in various settings. Key duties include focusing on attaining optimal physical functioning to foster independence at home and a return to meaningful activities. The Physiotherapist will also provide client-specific consultation, education, and training for service providers, caregivers, and families related to stroke rehabilitation. Applicants must have a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university and be a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Required qualifications include current Basic Life Support certification, clinical expertise in stroke rehabilitation, and knowledge of current best practices. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in Meditech and MS Office. ADP certification and experience in both hospital and community service delivery are considered assets.
