Attendant - Emergency

Summary

The Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is seeking an Attendant for their Emergency Department. This part-time, unregulated care provider role involves direct and indirect patient support, including assisting with patient transport, lifting, and positioning, while adhering to safety and infection control standards. The Attendant will also support emergency code teams, maintain a clean environment, and ensure necessary resources are available. Responsibilities include communicating patient information, organizing workload, collaborating with colleagues, and performing scheduled housekeeping duties for equipment and work areas. The position requires a Grade 12 Diploma, current CPR certification, and the ability to demonstrate physical and mental capabilities for the role's essential duties. A graduate of a health-related college course is preferred.
