Regional Coordinator, Cancer Programs

Summary

The Waterloo Wellington Health Network (WRHN) is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Regional Coordinator for their Cancer Programs, with the position expected to last until approximately December 31, 2027. This role, based at WRHN @ Midtown in Kitchener, ON, will collaborate with clinical leads, program leadership, and Patient Family Advisors to identify regional needs, develop work plans, and implement projects aligned with provincial and regional cancer plans. The coordinator will support quality person-centered care by promoting services such as patient education, experience, symptom management, and psychosocial oncology. Key responsibilities include leading the planning and delivery of OH-CCO campaigns, monitoring performance data, facilitating reporting, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful achievement of program priorities and metrics. The position requires an undergraduate degree in a health-related discipline and 2-4 years of recent experience in a hospital, OH-CCO, health care, or public health setting. Preferred qualifications include project management, quality improvement, data management experience, and knowledge of the cancer system.
