Housing Stability Caseworker
Summary
The County of Wellington is seeking a Housing Stability Caseworker for a nine-month contract position. This role supports the homeless serving system, focusing on the Guelph-Wellington Coordinated Entry System. Responsibilities include assessing eligibility for housing stability benefits, managing client records, referring clients to financial resources, and assisting individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness to secure and maintain housing. The caseworker will also provide guidance to service providers on compliance with agreements and standards, monitor program performance, and conduct operational reviews. This position requires a high school diploma plus post-secondary education in a related field, over one year of experience in human services or community development, and knowledge of homelessness services. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are also necessary.
