Registered Nurse - OR (GMCH)

Summary

Groves Memorial Community Hospital is seeking a temporary part-time Registered Nurse for its Operating Room. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care across various units, including the Operating Room, Endoscopy Suite, Day Surgery, and the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (Recovery Room). This role requires adherence to the standards of practice set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and the hospital's policies and procedures. Applicants must be registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have completed a Post Graduate Course in Perioperative Nursing. The position requires 1-3 years of operating room experience and a current BCLS certification. Candidates must also have or be willing to obtain ACLS and PALS certifications. The role involves working in all areas of the Surgical Suite on a rotating basis and participating in a regular on-call rotation.
