Summary

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant for Assumption School. This 1.0 FTE position involves supporting students with special needs in both individual and group settings under the direction of the teacher. Key responsibilities include aiding in program delivery, assisting with lessons and Individualized Education Plans, observing and reporting on student development, managing student behavior, and providing general classroom support. The role requires a post-secondary educational assistant program completion, at least one year of experience with children, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as toileting and lifting. Preference will be given to individuals already in the casual Educational Assistant pool.
