Business Analyst

Summary

The City of Woodstock is seeking a full-time Business Analyst to manage and improve their Public Works work order management system and related operational applications. This role involves documenting business requirements, mapping processes, and developing system workflows to support maintenance, asset management, scheduling, and service delivery. Key responsibilities include configuring system modules, supporting integrations with various systems (GIS, financial, fleet), maintaining data quality, and developing operational reports and dashboards. The Business Analyst will also provide functional and technical support to system users, conduct user acceptance testing, and research emerging technologies. Candidates require a diploma in GIS, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in business analysis, systems administration, or a related area. Knowledge of work order management, GIS software (ESRI ArcGIS), SQL, APIs, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) are essential. A valid Ontario Class G driver's license is also required. Experience in a municipal or public-sector environment and familiarity with specific systems like Cartegraph are preferred.
