Summary

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Inpatient Surgical Unit in Stratford, ON. This is a temporary part-time position. The role involves providing direct patient care in a surgical setting, requiring skills in venepuncture, central line care, medication administration, glucose monitoring, TPN and enteral feeding management, chest tube management, and wound care. The successful candidate will also be responsible for patient education, planning, organizing, problem-solving, and clinical documentation using the Meditech Information System. Candidates must hold a current registered membership with the College of Nurses of Ontario and a current BLS certificate. Recent courses in surgical nursing are also required. Desired qualifications include a minimum of two years of recent clinical experience in pre/post-operative acute care surgery and specific surgical specialties.
