Summary
The Region of Waterloo is seeking a Student, Health Information to support the implementation and maintenance of health information systems. This temporary, four-month contract position involves extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data from health information systems, identifying and resolving data-related issues, and designing data visualization dashboards. The role also includes coordinating projects, developing user guides, providing customer service, and consulting on privacy processes. The successful candidate will work with ITS to resolve system issues, assist with stakeholder consultation and training, and prepare presentations and reports. This position requires current enrollment in a related post-secondary program and strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, statistical software (SAS, SPSS), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
