Registered Practical Nurse - Operating Room
Summary
The Brant Community Healthcare System is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse for their Operating Room. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within the operating room environment. The position requires a graduate of an accredited college nursing program, registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, completion of a post-graduate Operating Room course, and a minimum of one year of current Operating Room experience. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interprofessional team. Preferred competencies include membership in RPNAO and demonstrated ability in patient assessment and care planning, as well as coaching and mentoring colleagues and students.
