Instructional Support Coordinator

Summary

The University of Waterloo is seeking an Instructional Support Coordinator (ISC) for its WE Accelerate program. This temporary, full-time role focuses on providing instructional leadership and coordinating the day-to-day administration and delivery of the WE Accelerate program, which offers an alternative to traditional co-op work terms by combining skill development, project experiences, and career curriculum. The ISC will support students, supervise student and casual staff, collaborate with internal and external partners, and contribute to program improvement. Key responsibilities include managing program logistics, scheduling, addressing student concerns, onboarding and evaluating staff, and liaising with partners. The role also involves assessing stream operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing revisions to program materials based on best practices in online learning and pedagogy. Familiarity with learning management systems and online education technologies is essential.
