New Student Transition Specialist, Graduate

Summary

The University of Waterloo is seeking a New Student Transition Specialist, Graduate, to design, implement, and maintain programs supporting the successful transition of new graduate students. This role focuses on the unique needs of graduate students, with particular attention to international students and priority populations such as Black, Indigenous, racialized, and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals. The Specialist will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, oversee program operations, and contribute to the overall student experience. Key responsibilities include program development and administration, relationship building with campus partners, staff and volunteer development, and research and reporting on student transition trends. The position requires a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism, with a Master's degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
